Irish Supporters' Day will be on 7th October

We are holding our inaugural Irish Supporters’ day at the Amber Springs Hotel in Grey, County Wexford, on Friday October 7th, 10am to 4pm.

Originally the British and Irish Hardwoods Improvement Programme or BIHIP, for 25 years, Future Trees Trust has been improving seven species of broadleaved trees and has achieved considerable success. Our work has been recognised and endorsed by all the principal stakeholders in Irish and British forestry.

If you would like to know more about how Future Trees Trust is improving timber yields, increasing disease resilience, establishing seed orchards and trials across Ireland, our ambitious plans for work in Ireland and how you can get involved, come along and see for yourself. After presentations from key Future Trees Trust people and lunch, we will take a guided tour of the nearby Nonesohardy Nursery (include link here to , keen supporters of Future Trees Trust for many years.

Attendance is free and lunch will be provided. Places are limited so to confirm your attendance at what promises to be a great day, contact Tim Rowland at Future Trees Trust at
