Thursday June 6th, 10.30am – 4pm
Wakehurst Place, West Sussex, RH17 6TN
This year, Future Trees Trust’s Annual Supporters’ Day will, in addition to updates on the work of the UK’s only tree improvement charity, see the launch of two important strategy documents – the Ash Research Strategy, launched by Nicola Spence, Chief Plant Health Officer at Defra and the Strategy for UK Forest Genetic Resources, launched by Clare Trivedi, Conservation Partnership Coordinator at RBG Kew. Lord Gardiner, Parliamentary Under-Secretary at Defra, will deliver the keynote opening address. After lunch, we will be treated to tours of the Millennium Seed Bank and Wakehurst’s excellent woodlands. It should prove to be a fantastic day in a beautiful location and we hope that you will be able to join us. Admission is free.
